Accessory Service

1. This screen allows you to configure a rate for an additional warehouse service, such as labeling, assembly, quality control, or insurance. The defined rate will be associated with a specific warehouse and can be applied during the operational or contractual phase.

Click on Add Warehouse Service tariff 

2. In the Logistics Service drop-down menu, select the type of additional service from the following options:

  • Item labeling : applying labels to products or packaging.
  • Kit assembly : composition of kits from multiple items.
  • Quality control : checking the condition and conformity of products.
  • Goods insurance against theft/damage (in warehouse) : insurance coverage for stored goods.

3. The Pricing Model field defines how the fee associated with the selected service is calculated. The choice of model directly impacts the billing logic and cost structure:

  • Fixed:  Apply a fixed fee for each service execution.
    Typical usage : standard services, administrative costs, simple operations.
  • Per item cost number: Rate calculated based on the number of cost items associated with the item.
    Typical use : multi-item management, detailed cost analysis.
  • Percentage of Goods Price:  Applies a percentage of the value of the goods.
    Typical uses : insurance, services proportional to the commercial value.
  • Per arrival:  Rate tied to the arrival of the goods.
    Typical uses : receiving, unloading, incoming management.
  • By SKU:  Specific price for each product code.
    Typical use : large catalogs, products with varying costs.
  • For the first product unit managed:  Fee applied only to the first unit managed.
    Typical usage : setup costs, promotions, initial thresholds.
  • Per product unit:  Rate per physical unit managed.
    Typical use : retail warehouses, e-commerce, single-piece management.
  • For the first load units:  Rate applied to the first load units (e.g., the first pallets).
    Typical usage : progressive discounts, fixed initial costs.
  • Per load unit:  Price per handled load unit (e.g., pallet, container).
    Typical use : containerized logistics, standardized transport.
  • For service contract management:  Fee related to the administrative or operational management of the contract.
    Typical uses : ongoing services, framework contracts, outsourcing.

4. In the Price field , enter the cost for the selected service.

5. In the Unit of measurement drop-down menu, choose the desired unit of measurement.

6.  Category rule defines the product categories to which the tariff applies.

7.  Charging period specifies the time period for which the tariff is valid.

8.  Load unit size constraints indicates any physical constraints for the load unit (example: Europallet)

9. The Description field is used to provide further details or clarifications on the service offered.

10. Click Save All and Close   to finish.
