Configuration

1. In the left menu in the Cloud App, click Post Shipment Creation under the Configurations heading .

2. On the main page, create an Event by clicking on Add Event After creating Shipment.

3. Rename the event in the name field to Create Return Shipment .

4. Click Save and Close 

5. On the main page click on Task​  to show the drop-down menu

6. Choose the Create returns shipping option

7. On the configuration page, choose the options in the drop-down menu on the left under Returns destination .

Inherit from shipment : to inherit the choice from the shipment.

Selected warehouse : to select a possible return warehouse created in the  📄 Warehouses guide

8. By selecting the Selected Warehouse item, the configuration fields appear on the screen.

9. In the Warehouse field, select the Return Warehouse to use for return shipments.

To facilitate the management of returns, especially from abroad, you can choose to use a specific warehouse abroad where all monthly returns can be accumulated and then sent to the headquarters at a later time, saving on shipping.

In the example, using the available Activity Filters , for all returns from France you must use the Return Warehouse France as the destination .

10. In the Shipping Service From field, indicate which shipping service the returns should be made with using the 2 choices in the drop-down menu.

Inherit from shipment : to inherit the choice of courier used for shipping.

Selected shipping service : to select another shipping service if desired.

For example, if I used a national courier service to ship to France, I can indicate a French courier for the possible return shipment to the  France Return Warehouse.

11. In the Add insurance to shipment field, choose whether or not to use return shipping insurance using the items in the drop-down menu.

No : if you do not want to use a return shipping insurance service.

Yes, the value is the sum of the shipping lines : use an insurance service based on the value of the shipment.

Yes, specific value : use an insurance service by indicating a shipment value in the Insurance Value field .
