Accompanying documentation for international shipments
For international shipments, it is necessary to produce a series of documents to attach to the shipment.
With Logivery the user has the opportunity to create this type of documents and automate them in case of shipments to non-European countries.
Reporting entities
1. To enter the declaring subjects, who will appear in the customs documentation, you must click on Team Profile in the left menu, under the Permits column.
2. Once you have entered the team profile, click on Reporting entities in the tabs at the top.
3. Click on Add reporting entity data.
4. Now you can add all the data required to complete the customs documents.
5. This data can also be entered during the creation of the shipping service in the main characteristics in the Declaring subject field .
By clicking on the add icon (+ symbol) you can access the entry form for the declarant who, once entered, will be shown as a choice in the same Declarant drop-down menu .
How to complete the customs declaration
In order to manage shipments going abroad, it is necessary to complete a customs declaration.
1. To select the customs declaration filling method, go to the shipping service configuration parameters in the main features section .
2. In the customs declaration compilation method field there are two choices:
- Do not autofill: when you want to fill in the declaration manually.
- Automatically fill in by aggregating the shipment lines: this is the recommended choice because the documentation is created automatically by the system.
3. To configure the basic declaration parameters, click on Manage customs declaration settings.
4. Auto-filling of the customs declaration means that when a shipment is created by an automatic process, the customs declaration is pre-filled.
5. The customs declaration is displayed by clicking the Show button in the Actions menu of each shipped order.
6. On the shipment summary page, at the bottom, click on the Manage customs declaration button to view the contents of the declaration
