Packaging

Introduction

The Cloud App offers advanced packaging creation functionality designed to streamline and simplify the shipping process. 

With intuitive and customizable tools,  it allows you to configure the dimensions and specifications of the packaging based on the needs of the products. You can create predefined packaging templates, optimizing time and reducing errors during the shipping preparation process.

Configuration

1. To access the section, click on Packaging in the left menu under the Settings.

Types of packaging

1. In this section the user can consult all the types of Packaging created.

Creating packaging types

1. To enter the Packaging Types creation menu, click on and enter the configuration page.

2. Once you enter the Create Packaging Type page , you will need to enter all the references required by the system.

• Code: Enter an identification code for the packaging type.
• Name: Enter a descriptive name for the packaging type.
• Type: Click on the drop-down menu to select the type of packaging to create (Pallet, Envelope or Parcel).

Size Settings

1. In these fields the user will enter the packaging size data.

2. Click the Unit of measurement size drop-down menu to choose the type of unit of measurement you want to use.

3. In the next three fields enter the dimensions of the packaging (Length, Width and Height). 

Tare settings

1. Click the Weight Unit drop-down menu to choose the type of unit of measurement to use for weight.

2. In the Tare field, enter the tare of the package expressed in the previously selected unit of measurement.

To complete the creation click on 

Edit packaging data

1. Once you return to the created packaging list page, you can make changes via the Actions menu .

The first icon (blue eye) allows you to view the packaging.

The second icon (green pen) allows you to make changes.

The third icon (red bin) allows you to delete the packaging.
