Assisted shipment
Assisted shipments are the mode that Logivery uses to allow users to create shipments in an assisted manner starting from orders.
In the Assisted Shipping section you can create Events where you can connect various activities to be carried out in correspondence with the related events.
The Events will be the identifiers that can be recalled by the user when, in the order management, it is requested to generate an assisted shipment, so it will be possible to create shipments starting from the orders that have been selected in 2 ways:
Shipments without specified Events : the system starts from the first event in the list of assisted shipments and tries to create the shipments based on the filters set.
Shipments with Events: specifying an Event forces the system, when creating shipments, to use a particular event or events.
In the example, events have been created to handle:
Warehouse selection: 📄 Warehouse Assignment
Courier choice: 📄 Shipping service assignment
Packaging choice : 📄 Packaging assignment
Examples of events
The first example proposes a situation in which all orders that are not destined for France are managed with the Italian Warehouse, using the filters made available.
The second example shows a situation where the cheapest courier is used for all Italian destinations .
The third and final example shows a situation where orders weighing 3 kilos or more must be packaged in cardboard.
